Bicycle Front Basket

Many cyclists mount a front basket on the handlebar of their bicycle.  This is very useful for running errands on the bike.  Articles of different shapes and sizes can be easily carried in the basket.  Some bike baskets have a quick release feature.  This allows the basket to be easily taken off the handlebar mount, for use while shopping for grocery in the supermarket.  To avoid a heavily loaded front basket from affecting steering handling of the bicycle, one can consider mounting the basket on the seat post instead.
